Re: Toad 2012
Registration has closed!!!!!!
First time that I recall that it didn't sell out ... is this the start of a decline in the popularity of Trail Running perhaps has the Toad has removed too much trail from the trail run. Thoughts???

I'm surprised it didn't sell out. Perhaps it's the cost? It is a pricey event compared to some of the others.

Re: Toad 2012
I remember one year it sold out in April! I am wondering if it is the combination of the cost and the fact that they have allowed more people to enter. Maybe some liked the smaller feel of the race with less runners. The first year I did it, there were about 250 people registered. I am disappointed to miss it this year.

Re: Toad 2012
Does anyone know what the rules are for bib transfer? For the relay???
Our group of four isn't looking like we are going to make the Toad this year. We have had a variety of injuries and I just don't see it happening.
We are hoping we could sell the bib if possible.

Engmomma
You could
a) ask the RD
b) just let who ever run with your bib
c) keep you bib and get someone to pick up your swag ( Backpack or Gym Bag I suspect )
I like b , less complicated and if your like me you already have too much stuff

Bib is advertised.talked to the RD and we have time before they print the bibs. But I could careless if someone runs under my name it is a relay bib.

I hear that Ryne Melcher is giving a talk at 2:30 PM on Friday. Curly and I are vollies (volunteers) on Friday, but I hope to drop by and say hello and catch some of Ryne's talk.
Hope to see almost everyone there!

And if I miss you then.. See you at aid station 3/4!
Told Peggy that this is my last year to volunteer as I need to run this again next year. (as much as I love volunteering)
