Hi! I'm new to Toronto, and while I usually run Grandma's Marathon in Duluth, Minn. this time of year, it looks as if the Niagara 50k is the closest thing I'm going to find to a marathon around here on that weekend (22-23 June). I'm in downtown Toronto without a car; looking at the website for this event (Niagara-On-The-Lake) looks pretty remote. Is anyone from the GTA going to the race who I could ride share with? I read the forum on the race in years past, I know what to expect; I just want to make sure I have a way to get there and back here afterwards, as I don't see anything regarding shuttle buses or other forms of transit. Please contact if you're participating, it looks like a fun event!
Jon.

Jon,
The GO train goes to NF on the weekends.
Although there may be maniacs headed for this. There were a couple last year.

Thanks, guys! I'll get to it this afternoon. I have participated in the Niagara Falls Marathon in October before, but this one in a few weeks appears to be a much smaller and scaled back event. I just wanted a marathon somewhat close by since I'm missing Grandma's

Something to keep in mind for next year is that it tends to be a bit warmer in southern Ontario in June than Minnesota. Hence the races in May.

High of 26 with rain. Should be humid (feels like 32) so no need for a housecoat...
Hope to see a bunch of maniacs on Saturday!

Fun! Brought back lots of memories from 2011. I'd really like to do this race again some time.
