Haliburton 2013

Postby Strider » Sun Sep 01, 2013 1:03 pm

Anyone going?

Turns out I am. Last minute entry. I was checking the WS100 lottery qualifying races and to my surprise Kettle Moraine 100km was not on the list. The 100 mile was but not the 100km. So I need to run a qualifying race to be able to put my name in the lottery and keep my entry streak going (3rd time so 3 entries in the lottery). With the SGCR 100km run in October, HF50 is the only option. Trained? Well i did 53km last weekend at the i2P trail run, so short taper and an 11hr time limit for the lottery, we shall see how the day goes.

See you in the Forest.

If I'm not mistaken Neil from sole fit was running the 50 as well.

Cbaker see you this weekend, what site are you in. I believe it 163 for me, but the paper is in the truck already so it may be 162 as well.

Yep Neil is running the 50mile, and a few others from the SGCR GoodGuys Tri group too. Will be good time but have to head back to Ottawa right after the race. Sunday will be a tired day ....

Have fun at Hali y'all! I have to work or I would be there in some capacity (incapacity?). Say hi to Curly and Sharon at the 25 mile turn-around aid station.

Say hi to the bears for me! (Actually, don't mention my name - they are still miffed at me over some stupid fish incident...)
It's a hill. Get over it!
