Silent Lake Prov Park

Postby erinmcd » Sun Jul 27, 2014 6:30 pm

Just got back from Silent Lake PP- what a great place for trails! There was a trailhead for a beautiful 3km loop right across the road from our campsite (which the puppy and I did a bunch of times) and from that trail you could connect to the 15km trail that goes around the whole lake- single track the whole way, and quite rugged- a really great trail. For a family camping trip where you want to get out on the trails, this is a good pick.
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.

The road to hell is paved. Run trails.

The campground was quite nice- lots of tree cover, and very hilly. One thing to note- there are several campsites that are dual sites (like a mini group site)- stay away from those. We were beside one and it was LOUD!
