Talk to me about Lulu bras....

Postby DonnaRigs » Tue Dec 14, 2010 6:36 pm

I am looking at the Lulu bras, but not for running per se.

It looks like I may have to take that horrible course, and I wanted a bra to wear to the field and stuff like that. I use Moving Comfort for running, but I don't want a compression bra for wearing 24 hours a day for a week in the dirt.

I am looking at the Ta Ta Tamer and The Bust Stops Here....

I have several of the Deep V ones and one of the Power Y ones, and I have to say that I wear them CONSTANTLY for casual wear (when it doesn't matter and I just want to be comfortable).

I use the Ta Ta Tamer for running. If they weren't so expensive I'd by more and would wear them all the time, with or without the headlight covers! I love the colors too.

I used to wear the ta ta tamers all the time at work, when I worked in the field. They are a very comfy all day bra.

Haven't tried any of the new ones since being pregnant the first time. Waiting to go back to a more reasonable size...

I like the tata tamer for high impact exercise. Whenever I wear it all day, I find it uncomfortable. They do have a lot of great ones though... usually when you go to the store they're set up from the most support to the least support (at least at Polo Park).

I like the ta ta tamer, too. I find it good for running or regular activity. It seems to run small, though- beware if shopping online.

I've converted from the TTT to TBSH. I prefer TBSH, I find it gives a rounder, less "bullet boob" look.

The all sport bra is comfortable as well.

I am going to wait until after the CRAZY Christmas shoppers have cleared out and go and get a few - I have not spent my "bra allotment" for this year and can get up to three (and I don't have a cap since I am a "harder to fit" female, lucky me). I have a big exercise at the end of Feb, so this would be a good chance to try one out...

Yep, just need a chit from a Doc. You can get up to three, no cap (within reason, no La Perla).

There are some benefits to being booby-blessed.

Check the "we made too much" section of the website. There are several different bras there.

I went to Lulu the other day - got the TTT for $44 on sale. Tried it yesterday and loved it!

I run because it's my passion, and not just a sport. Every time I walk out the door, I know why I'm going where I'm going and I'm already focused on that special place where I find my peace and solitude. Running, to me, is more than just a physical exercise...it's a consistent reward for victory!

I like the TTT but don't love it. I find it provide enough support for everything but running. I still bounce and I am only a 36C. I really needed a 36B as I tend to wear a size smaller but the supportive bra style are not manuafactured in the "smaller" sizes. They don't realize that the medium sized girls still need maximum support when they get older. Geesh!

I ended up buying 2 Shock Absorber bras. They are a 34 B - the cup fits and restricts ALL bounce and I wear a band extender to make it fit better.

I wanted to try the new lulu bra but they didn't have any of the smaller sizes in stock.

My pet peeve......... I want coloured bras... white always gets dingy and black is good but boring
Running 26.2 miles is not limited by physical capabilities but rather by the mind.
