BRA HELP!!!

Postby katmeau » Thu Aug 08, 2013 9:50 am

I am a new runner and need a great sports bra. I have quite a large chest 36DD and can not find a bra with good support, right now I am wearing three just to make it comfortable. Can any one suggest one that is good fit and supportive for a larger chest? I would really appreciate any suggestions thanks

Under Armor Shock Absorber. I am about the same size as you and this is my go to running bra. I usually buy mine at The Bay. Make sure that you get the one that clasps in the back (like a regular bra), not the t-back.

moving comfort juno

Not sure if you're near a Running Room, but the ones here have been doing bra fit sessions lately - might be worth giving them a call.

I like the Moving Comfort and the Shock Absorber - I'm around your size and those both work for me!

I've been using the Moving Comfort Maia Bra lately. It's been remarkably chafe free even on longer distances.

I can't be much help, as my "girls" are a bit smaller than yours, but just wanted to say, welcome to Running Mania!

Another vote for Shock Absorber - I wear the "Run" or "Ultimate Run" or whatever they call it.

I have also worn the Rebound Racer from Moving Comfort. Good support but harder to get in and out of.

Lulu has a new line of running bras called "Bracer." They come in "Itty," "Bitty" and "Booby" models, depending on how much support you need.

I just revamped my stash of bras. I second what the others say. Shock absorber and Moving Comfort. Two nips up. :P

I used to wear the Moving Comfort Maia, but it no longer is enough support. I am a new convert to the Shock Absorber Ultimate Run Bra.

Yeah, it is a bit of a surprise insn't it? I think they took the Bounce-O-Meter site down.

When my knockers were bigger (when I was full-on breastfeeding I was a 36F), I LOVED the Enell bras. Now that I'm smaller (34C), I like the Moving Comfort Juno and Rebound Racer. I have never felt so "locked and loaded" as I did with the Enell bras, and they were the only ones that felt comfortable during long runs with my gigantic stripper nursing boobs.

My wife, who is of similar measurement likes the Lululemon Ta-ta-tamer...not sure they still carry that now that they have a new line out...

Going to mention the under armour product to her.

I know! Too bad the inventory isn't consistent from store to store! Even within this city, I doubt I'll find any at my local Winners. But I'll try!
