Running Mania

Hello

Shoe question...Is it ok to stock up on running shoes even if they may not be used for several months or more? I don't need new shoes yet, but probably later in the year. I vaguely remember reading that it may not be the best idea, but can't remember. However, the shoes I wear are on sale, and have extra savings for Boxing day! (runningfree.com has extra 20% off for boxing week if anyone is interested!)

Several months is fine. Sometimes I buy some that I won't use for over a year.

i've never had an issue doing what you are doing. i've had shoes that i've kept in the box for 2 years before using them.
