Thanks! I was kind of surprised I took the advice as well  .

I'll see how it goes. It's a long road ...

The road is long, but it goes by so fast. Don't forget to stop and smell the roses.

Thanlks ... don't use the backspace key here. Lost my post...

In any event thanks. It was enjoyable and I could smell the few flowers that remain here. :x

It makes me wonder if the physological divide where you stop appreciating the scenery
is also a physiological marker, like where they say if you can have a normal conversation
that is easy aerobic blah blah blah...

One thing about this so-called easy run is that it left me more stiff the following day than
a so-called harder shorter run. My ankles, quads and hip are pretty stiff though not paining.
And I"m also sleepy! :? Going to bathe and shower to loosen and wake up hopefully :)

That's exactly how it should feel. That means you are doing it right!

Hmmm... good news

Well, it's ok for 1 or 2 times, but if it were every time out or every time I added a mile, I think I would give up my quest for more speed
and just stick with runs that left me feeling invigorated and energized.

Hopefully the legs will adapt quickly :!:
