Blue tape

What's with the blue tape I see people adorning themselves with ?
Runners, soccer players - is it some kind of tensor device ?
it looks like the stuff you use to mask off while house painting...

Blue tape

Kinesiotape is great- it comes in all different colors too. :)

You'll see it on many of the athletes in the Olympics, especially the volleyball players (not that they are more likely to use it, just that it's very noticeable on them).

There's also SpiderTech, which is a Canadian company. Theirs is a bit different because it's pre-cut for different body parts (whereas many other brands have to be cut/applied by someone who knows what they're doing).

My RMT put the hamstring SpiderTech tape on me. Right after he finished applying it, he said "I probably shouldn't have put that on you without having you shave first." I almost fainted when I stood up and it pulled all the hair on the back of my leg.
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.

you're not supposed to pull it off that quickly! It's not like a wax job. ;)

I thought removing the hair first was mostly to help the tape stick better...
