If you see a really slow woman running along the Humber it's me...trying to get in just 1 more k!
Next year will be a different story though!

Finished week 1 of my 10k Training plan on Saturday.
Was able to get a nice 4.5k run in at 6:30 am before heat & humidity hit.
Such a great run!

This past week was really the first time that I intentionally planned routes that had hills.
I actually RAN up the St.Mark's Hill! Yes I did!! It wasn't graceful but I did complete it! lol
This was on Thursday. By yesterday's run I could already feel the results of adding hills - I ran up the hill to the Old Mill (on the west side of the river) and felt amazingly strong!

On to Week 2 tomorrow morning :-)

Week 3 of my training plan. 45 minute run this morning.
Decided to try wetting my hat and putting it in the freezer. Worked like a charm.
Another great run!

yep.. building to 10K.

I just found a sweet series on Pod-Runner as well.. 5k, 8k and 10K mixes with a change in tempo for the walk/run.... I have downloaded a few of them to see how they work out.

Oh, and WELCOME ABOARD! :ympeace:

I love the podrunner downloads, EXCEPT for the Steve guy that talks in the beginning!
