My baby is going to do his first triathlon...
Ok, well he's almost 11, but he is still my baby. After two years of trying to get my kids to run with me without success, I finally found something that has gotten my son interested. He's signed up for his first triathlon in June and is so excited to have a training plan (and new Saucony running shoes). I got him into: http://www.trigator4kids.com/ which sold out in 2 hours! The kids range in age from 3-13 years old. I can't wait to see the little kids on their tricycles

Good for you. Get him started young.
See you there. (I'm the timing guy.) It's a well-organized event. The race director just told me about how quickly it sold out. Amazing.

Good luck to him!

Using the term "race" loosely...
BG1's son cried when he was told he had to get out of the pool to get on his bike.

Some of them can be pretty serious when they are 'racing' - it just adds to the cuteness factor

Last year some of the little ones did really well until they saw all the people cheering at the finish line. A couple of them had to be gently coaxed into going anywhere near it.

Very cool! I hope he enjoys it!

That looks like a whole lot of fun! Kinda makes me wish I were a kid.

This happens to some of the adults athletes as well doesn't it?

Good for your Baby! I think he deserves a wetsuit, a carbon tri-bike and a racing wheelset.
Please do not spell it "triathalon". It makes Baby Jesus cry. It's "triathlon".

Congratulations to him on entering his first triathlon! Is he enjoying 'training' for it?
