I Saw CinC on course at Skaha Beach and then as she come in at the finish, within the last 200m, she was looking awesome! Great finish Carla! Mr. Suess should do it, but it's going to be close I can still see runners on the oherside of Skaha Lake from my BIL place, it's not looking good for them.

We're going to try this new thing called jogging. Or maybe it's yogging-with a silent "j". Apparently you just run for an extended period of time. It's supposed to be wild.

This was bang-on what she was hoping for in the race (she was hoping 1:20 swim, 5min T1 & T2, 6:30 bike, 5:30 run). So, her bike was about 10-min slower than she was hoping, but still a rockin' great time! But that run - this was her most ambitious goal of the day and she NAILED it!

See? I told you that I would have the stunned look on my face - when you were running ahead of me to get mt picture, it started to make more sense!!
Thanks everyone! Brief recap -was a good day - very very hot. Salt was my friend, but no cramping. Couple blisters (toes, and with the amt of water tossed and sprayed on me, expected!). No stomach issues, felt quite good all day!
I felt your support out there. Thanks! Full race report later!!

A bit off - I wanted a 640 bike, 520 run, but I'll take it!!

Congrats to anyone who made it to the start line of that event! Just getting to that point, with the hours and hours of dedication and training is an incredible feat all on its own!
