Umm who is leaving expensive bikes in garages. Mine live lovingly in my house.

I use the Privacy Zone. And my good bikes are in my house, not in my shed. My commuter bike is in my shed, though.

I've also heard that having an expensive bike rack (like a Thule) on your car, parked in the driveway, alerts would-be thieves that there are likely expensive bikes being stored on the property.

Yikes! I just bought an awesome bike rack - am I inviting thieves to visit me? Never thought of that.
