I did what Kristi suggested for the last 2K's, picked people to pass and I did, it gave me the focus as I was getting a bit tired.

...way to push it in...and great advice given to you!

Now, how can any time be 1:11:08ish? Sounds pretty precise to me.

But that time is ancient history as you have a sterling new PB. Way to go!

The 60 minute barrier is now in sight.....

(Kristi's trick works much better when you have Brendan running beside you stage-whispering in your ear, "go get 'er, Pitbull!")
Next Up in 2010:
April - 21K de Montreal

Wow, that is a HUGE improvement from last year, and the fact that you got a PB on that course really shows how much fitness you've gained this past year. Way to go!

Lesley, That's awesome. That is one fast 10km you ran. I wouldn't be able to keep up. Hopefully I'll join you next year for this one!
Cheers,
Jenn, RYT

Excellent time Lesley!
Sweet PB!
I used to run. All the time.
Now? Notsomuch.
I'm still a runner, though.

I just have to chime in AGAIN..and say..awesome job Lesely.
The Zoo is not an easy course for a PB..stairs, bridge, narrow paths, gravel, sharp turns, crowded lanes and animal distractions. You rocked it!!

Congratulations Lesley.
Your conditioning is really paying off and a sub-60 is within reach. Go for it! Well done on a strong finish picking off runners one by one.
Regards,
Turtle Luc :)
