ATB - long joggle, short race report

Postby The Joggler » Sun Mar 25, 2007 1:54 pm

Hope everyone had a great Around the Bay! Looking forward to reading all the race reports.

Here's my short race report:

Joggled the 30K in 1:54-something. Ran a personal-best distance of 25K while juggling without a drop (with four drops total - one at 3K, one at 28K and two right near the finish). Happy with time. Tired. Nap.

CONGRATULATIONS Michal!!!!!

Hubby & I were sitting in section 122 and cheering for you when you made your grand entrance into the stadium. :D I had my orange shirt on and gave you a big cheer and a wave. What an amazing time you ran. I had a blast in my first l'il 5k race! Almost felt gulity sitting in the stands afterwards while all the rest of the maniacs were still running.

Hubby and I stayed till 1:00 pm, then we had to head home (1 1/2 hr drive)... our doggies were waiting for us.

Only saw one other maniac cross the finish line ... BG. His time was something like 2:44 if I recall. What a thrill.

Anyway, enjoy your nap. You sure earned it.

That is amazing! Congratulations. Your speed amazes me, I feel great to hit 22k in just under 2 hours, cannot imagine 30! Enjoy your nap :D

I run because it's my passion, and not just a sport. Every time I walk out the door, I know why I'm going where I'm going and I'm already focused on that special place where I find my peace and solitude. Running, to me, is more than just a physical exercise...it's a consistent reward for victory!

Way to go, joggler! Congrats on your time! You're fast! I was wondering, were you wearing gloves to joggle? It was pretty cold without gloves.

Way to go! You looked in fine form as you passed the relay exchange at 15k. Our screaming didn't seem to phase you. ;)
