Okay...that's enough...I have to stop reading these Boston race reports...I keep leaking everywhere. Dang allergies!

Your report was fantastic...thanks for the pictorals to go with it. (I can't see many pics on RM for some reason but I could see all of yours! Yay!)

I agree with Tracy on the pic of you and Rob heading to the bus...you can see the nervous anticipation radiating off the both of you.

It was a pleasure to track you on Monday...and I look forward to being able to do it again. Maybe one of these days I'll do one better and be at a race to cheer you on in person...it would be an honor for me.

Wear that schwag with pride, Sheldon, you deserve it. Nobody is laughing.

Sheldon
Great report, I love reading your reports, they always seem to have some flair to them. You are sure an inspiring athlete. Sore shoulder from the girls, made me laugh. (might have been from moving as well).
Good luck in your up coming events. I'm sure you'll see the finish line of Boston again in your future.
Thanks for sharing your story. Enjoy the clothing, as someone else said, you look good in blue..........

Nice race Skipper!! It was a pleasure experiencing the entire race weekend with you.

Everyone gets the same jacket it isn't based on your result, wear it with pride. Hopefully it will be a very cold summer.

It is scary how well you can describe my feelings about Boston - before, what is the big deal, was never a life long dream and running Boston less than 4 years after my first race ever was a fluke, surreal.

And so now you get to wear the well earned jacket and stuff with pride. I cannot begin to describe the feeling one gets wearing that stuff at a 5 K trail race and having the race director point you out as a "Boston Finisher".

Glad you enjoyed the experience but the fun is just starting. It may be too soon yet but I once wrote before my first Boston I was running and saw some guy wearing a Boston jacket from 10 years before and I thought that was sort of pathetic but now, I relish the thought of being able to be that "pathetic". It may be too soon but I suspect you are going to get use to having strangers come up and ask, "did you really run Boston" and get to answer "yes".

Your report captures a lot of what I have thought about Boston.

The first time I wore my Boston shirt last year (June 30, I believe) I was greated by raucous laughter. But I have some harsh critics who ensure that I will never get a swollen ego. Wear your stuff with pride; you've earned it.

Great report and wonderful to see you again. I am looking forward to our next one.
