Who'd have thought my allergies would start acting up like this? Damn. Great report, Sheldon. You can expect applause the next time I see you, too. Well done, man. You're a class act.

Huge Congrats Sheldon! You DID Boston and you did the RMs proud. It was awesome being there and we were so happy that you could come back after for a shower, beer and some R&R.
God, that Boston Jacket is sensational lookin'! I'm so thrilled that you were there and that you've got the jacket to prove it.
Way to go Sheldon! See you at ITT for sure.

Awesome report, Sheldon! I loved your pics as well, especially the two together with you charging ahead (around the hills comment). You look super-fit. Wait...is that pervy???????? I didn't mean it to be.

Anyway, it has been a pleasure watching/reading about your journey to Boston. Wear your swag with pride!!!!

Congratulations.
Lightning :)

We're going to try this new thing called jogging. Or maybe it's yogging-with a silent "j". Apparently you just run for an extended period of time. It's supposed to be wild.

Sheldon,

It was nice to meet you, too! And thanks for giving me the right words to describe that course - two hills down, one hill up, repeat. It seems I'm using that a lot these days.

And how did you manage this?:

...we got a very cool Hanson-Brooks Distance Project -tshirt for free.

I must have spent 9 hours at that expo and I didn't get a free t-shirt! Good score!

After reading such detailed reports I have split feelings about Boston Marathon:
1. I don't need to go there - I already know all details :)
2. What an interesting experience it is - I want be there and feel it myself

Congratulations Sheldon on a race well done! I really love how laid back you were about the whole experience and how you seemed to drink it all in. I really admire you! Well done. :)

I run because it's my passion, and not just a sport. Every time I walk out the door, I know why I'm going where I'm going and I'm already focused on that special place where I find my peace and solitude. Running, to me, is more than just a physical exercise...it's a consistent reward for victory!
