This seemed like the shortest marathon I have ever participated in. Sharing the first 16 miles with you and having your awesome cheering squad cheering for me all along the route made it quite a lot of fun.

I don't know how to feel about holding you back for the first part of the race. I suspect you could have finished even faster. Oh well, that will come soon enough.

Congratulations!
Next Up in 2010:
April - 21K de Montreal
May - Cabot Trail Relay Race, Legs 6&7

I LOVED talking to you and Trish via speaker phone on Sunday! The only thing that would have made it better would have been if it had been in person.

B and I are chattering about the 2009 Race to the Sea relay followed by some cycling in NF. Interested?

H.

p.s Welcome to the club

Hm, cycling in Newfoundland and another relay? I think I could get behind that!!

Possibly could have finished faster, but may have crashed and burned like so many others before me. I'm very happy with my sub-4 with room to spare, and will see next time what I'm really capable of!

Funny, it's the shortest feeling marathon I've ever participated in too! ;-)
