Congratulations on winning the shallonge

Your steady progress will bring 3:20 soon :) My advice, as someone before said, attack 3:25 first.

It was pleasure to meet you and Lisa again :)

A PB when you have gained weight, and perhaps not trained up to your potential is great. Perhaps the 3:20 goal was a bit of an over-reach.

Sounds like with the right training and prep, you can drop it to 3:20 next time. Next time, you will be ready for it.

Dave, I agree with alot of people in that you are a first class guy. Your race report is full of praise of others....but please don't forget to pat yourself on the back.
You are one of the backbones of RM.

Congratulations on your PB and your Shallonge, certainly you will continue to achieve amazing times as your skill and attitude point in that direction.
Cheers,
Jill

Dude, sad as it makes me to say it, the days of me passing you in marathons are so freakin' over. Missing your goal but still coming in with a 3:28, a shallonge win, and a big ol' PB? You're in the big leagues now, friend! I really believe you're just beginning to tap into your true potential. Just don't blow it all on the ponies and the dancing girls in the off season, 'kay?

Way to gut this one out Dave. Like you said, you can always be very proud to finish a marathon. You also got a PB to go with it. You really had to work for this one down the stretch. Sometimes I have to admire when people like you have to really grunt it out to get the PB moreso when everything goes as planned.
You've got a BQ in you soon. You know what you have to do.

Sounds like you left it all out there and you can't do any better than that. Your continued progress inspires and motivates me. Great run Dave

Great report Dave and a nice race. You may not have gotten the result you hoped for but it's still a darn respectable time, congrats. Cheers!
