I've been out of the run scene for a while but this was my first race since moving back to Victoria. Of course the TC10k was the ideal choice because of the short distance.
Doing my pre-race prep, I realize that all of my shortsleeve RM shirt was still in storage in Vancouver with the rest of my summer gear. Oh well, I guess a PB is out of the question.
Conditions were great! Sun was out and the weather was a nice spring cool temperature. I took it rather easy today since I haven't raced in almost a year. The focus was to run a steady pace that didn't eat up my energy on passing people. It worked out well and finished with a time of 60:43.
Next up... Oak Bay Half Marathon in May!
