It was great to spend some time with you after the race today, DT. Glad we got to see the top fundraisers, and cheer the rest of the folks in. Oh, and glad we hobbled back to our cars together, too.

Congrats on getting it done in the rain. Another HM in your pocket. Nice. 8)

Cheers!

PS - Good luck with the bed construction.

Congrats Tator. Sorry about the bleeding nipples. Two things Nip quards, and Body Glide..... Looked like the rain held off for the most part. We did not get the snow that they were forcasting. Yay!!!!!

Got up at 5:45 a.m. Had a bagel with PB for breaky, checked into RM, checked the weather. 7C and rain forecast. About the same temperature as last year, only rainy instead of sunny. I decided on shorts (that was a given), my RM short sleeve shirt, a buff, shoes, socks, and my orange gloves.

Made my way to Assiniboine Park, and got there about an hour before race time. Hit the potties for pit stop #1. Ran into KBO and BingeRunner. Then LisaB and Kristen arrived (did I miss any other pre-start Manics?). I had to go one last time, so back to the potties for pit stop #2. Finished, refreshed, feeling good. Back to the start line, shuck the ratty old sweat shirt and my jacket. KBO was nice enough to drop my bag off for me. Hopped into the starting area.

My plan was....
