Great job Andy. I knew when I heard you were pacing Sylvie, that she would have a much better than average chance at achieving her goal! Now on to number 24! Eeks! Good Luck!

Well done! Great result!
Re: Andy's Marathon #23 in the Books in the Ottawa Marathon
Thanks Peeps, for your kind words, you're the greatest ...
With both Vancouver and Ottawa, in the books this month, I had the opportunity to tinker and play with my hydration and caloric and electrolye needs and requirement and think that I am closer to finding the magic combination, for my next attempt at racing a marathon for a BQ/PB !!!!
As noted in another thread ... I had my disposible water bottle with me from the "get go" and filled it up when it got empty at the water station and still took at leat a cup at each, while sipping along the way ... and, took in at least 5-6 gels, as well with about a dozen or so E-Load Zone Caps during the Ottawa Marathon ... and, in Vancouver, I also took in 6-7 gels, along with 1-2 cups of water at every water station ...

Wow, congrats to you and your friend! Glad you still enjoy the marathon game. It is my favourite distance!

We're going to try this new thing called jogging. Or maybe it's yogging-with a silent "j". Apparently you just run for an extended period of time. It's supposed to be wild.

That's so wonderful Andy! You're a great friend
If you decide not to race Hamilton but still want to run the full, I'd be happy to have your services as a pacer. Of course, you could probably walk my goal time

Pacing is a wonderful way of giving back but you end up receiving even more… funny how that works. Good luck in SF Andy .
