Dropping off some food hampers for The Christmas Cheer Board tonight - it's the first time I've
Been involved - looking forward to the experience.

I just couldn't drag my butt out of bed early enough this morning so it will 30 minutes on
The trainer tonight.

Tied up with work and other stuff till about 10 tonight.

Fortunately, tonight is a full moon, a solstice *AND* an eclipse. So I'm now planning an eclipse run in fish creek at midnight.

A short, easy run for me today. I'm packing and cleaning and packing and stacking, and organizing cat care...off tomorrow on a long drive to be with my family over the holidays...I'll get a chance to run with my sister for the first time. That will be great! :D

Wow today was a banner day for me - swam for 30 minutes and then did a run!

That's almost like belonging to the dark side, but not quite!

I didn't run today - I didn't plan to though because of a lunch out and then a get together after work. I will after work tomorrow - although we're supposed to get rain and 90 km/hr winds

5.5 miles night trail run with 5 other people and 2 dogs (including sammy!). It was fun except the part where sammy disappeared in the dark... our group was spread out in that section and I didn't know if he was ahead with the people ahead, but I was calling and calling and he wasn't coming... so one girl and I backtracked a bit, couldn't find him... and I was really getting nervous, but we kept going and eventually he found us again. Scared me!!! Glad he's ok... aside from that it was really fun. :)

Our XC ski plans were thwarted, so I quickly messaged a friend and we headed out for the most technical night run I've done yet. I've done a fair number of "in the dark" trail runs, but this one was on a trail on which I really have to concentrate on some sections during the day! And I didn't fall once. Yay me! And, I was just slightly out of my comfort zone the entire time, as my friend is a bit faster than me, and I worked to keep up.

Here's one bit:

'twas good. Total of about 10.3km done in 1:13.
