ATB pictures

Postby BJH » Sun Mar 26, 2006 7:55 pm

Today was long day of spectating ... actually I kind of like this spectating gig. It is somewhat easier than running the race. :P

We set ourselves up near the top of the Valley Inn hill. We had a great view of the course and got to see lots of folks making a huge effort on that last hill!

I'm posting smallish versions of some of my photos here. The course was a sea of orange. ;) Note: If I got one pic of you, I probably got more, so if you want the good versions, pm me an email address and I'll send them. If I didn't get names right, or don't have your photo labeled, let me know that, too.

First, the all important spectator pics of dgrant, QuickChick, prats and myself!

Hey, great pics Barbara! :D

Is Jane throwing gang hand signs in her pic?

I think Paul's gonna want a copy of that pic for sure (did you see his final time? He looks like he's flying because he was!)

Hi,

That's me in the second picture from the bottom (green vest).

Thanks so much for your cheering. It was amazing and got me to the finish line. I'm so sorry I missed meeting most of you there. I came to section 122 for a bit, but had to get back to our bus for the ride home.

hope everyone had a great day. I don't think I'll EVER race in better weather!

Sally

OK - what's a gang hand sign? I don't know what they are, let alone making them!! Don't forget, I come from the BIG city of Trenton! I don't think we have gangs here. Not serious ones anyhow - just kids riding around on their skateboards!

Thanks SO MUCH Dave, Lisa, Barb and Erin for being out there on that hill! I had said to someone -- maybe Tracy, that I figured you would have headed back to the colliseum by the time we made it there! It was great to see you and gave me some added energy! And thanks also to Dave, Lisa and the group of diligent workers who got together to organize all the shirts!! That looked like it was one big job! We really appreciate all your work.
Jane

Oh yeah, forgot to mention we'll either be on TV or on the race DVD. A woman had a video camera up in my face for a few minutes. I guess we were making a spectacle of ourselves.
