Wed-nes-day

Postby Marg » Wed Dec 07, 2011 6:30 am

A sweet purring kitty on my lap is causing me to procrastinate but I'll get at it shortly. Unsure of distance but it will be on the TM.
Have a great day y'all. Happy Hump Day.

Got outdoors for 14K this morning! 0C and little wind, everything dry, so it was all good!

I hope he recovers quickly from strep!

Jealous of Marg having a sweet purring kitty on her lap this morning. The housecat was going WILD this morning, wanting to play

Partial walk to work this morning. Working half day today :D Then I get to go home, do some laundry and cleaning and get ready for dinner out with some of my favourite people and then Sens game tonight! Should be fun :D

Have a great day everyone

Planning a double for today since Monday was an unexpected rest day. About 10.5 km on the TM this morning, and probably another 10 km or so at Runpub tonight. Hoping for a stress-free work day (ha!) but it's my boss's last day before vacation so anything could happen.

if that was Nemo on your lap....you probably couldn't move even if you wanted to.....ha! (I love Nemo...she's just big boned!)

anyway - back to this daily thread business. I did get a swim in at lunch - forgot my swim cap (first time ever i've done that) - the whole swimming with strands of hair smacking my head sucked, but got in the 1650m workout. Then did a 10k RR clinic talk on Race Prep last night and ran with that group - got in 5.8k.

This morning, met M for our usual usual Wed morning run - 4.5k at 6am with some light snow falling. It was kind of delightful. Mind you, I enjoyed running in the delightful heat of Mexico a few days ago a wee bit more.

Spin class tonight at Tri It. Looking forward to seeing those peeps!

That's ok Marg; I'll take that over being woken up early in the morning by whiskers in your face any day. Even if those whiskers are from a very rotund cat (16.5 lbs) that is on a diet and looking for food, because the said cat (who shall remain nameless... Bosco) ate ALL of his freak'n food we gave him last night.

A 40min group training session (GTS) is planned with my TnT group at Granville Island later after work.

Yes, crash and I had a good run this morning, but that rain was something else! A light, invisible drizzle which didn't feel like you were getting wet, but when I undressed after, my clothes were soaked!!! At least I didn't feel wet or cold...

HA!

Smile & CinC - proof is in FB, just check out the pictures I've posted of him on my profile. To his defense, yes he is a big cat, but it still does not negate the fact that he is rotund. Besides, something that cutie and adorable has to be pure evel!  With the exception of you Smiles....

Easy 4.5km around the neighbourhood this afternoon. After hardly running at all in November due to a pulled muscle, I'm trying to get back on track this month and NOT overdo it again. (Although I'm still a newbie, so even my "hard" days would practically be a day off for some of you guys, I'm sure. )
PR's so far: 5K 27:15, 10K 55:25, 21.1K 2:10:53, 42.2K 5:21:27

30 minutes done on the TM before dinner. I'll get an hour on the bike trainer after the show is done tonight (Show Tour is here, two bands and a comedian).
