Merry Christmas everyone! I plan to run to my mom's house shortly to open presents and then run back home to start Christmas dinner ... but I plan to do my running around in the car

Late night last night - my neighbour's bought themselves and outdoor fire pit of sorts. They put it on their deck and had a nice fire till around 2AM. My dogs hated it! Hannah went ballistic, pacing the house, barking and scratching at the door. If I put her out she ran the fence barking at the flames. I finally put the TV on and I think she was hearing something from the fire as she settled then but I had the TV on until 2AM! Didn't stop her though ... she was more excited then a 2 year old this morning! :D Plan to run off dinner tomorrow!

Have a great day everyone!

YAY it's Christmas again today! More presents to give and get today at my parents. :D

We will run 30 mins or 1h. We're having company from 2-3 so we'll see what we can fit in there once hubby wakes-up.

Have a good day with your families everyone.

Merry Christmas from Mennonite-ville.

No run for me today, I will need all the energy I can. Did take the dog for a walk to wear her out. She has no idea what is about to ensue.

no run for me still, but wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas. :)

I volunteered to work today, for which I'll get time-and-a-half and an extra day off. The beautiful part is that since all the kids are with their families, I don't actually need to BE at work. I have the program cell phone in case of emergency, and will wander in to work sometime this afternoon. Nice lazy morning for me this way. :)

I WILL be going out for a run shortly. Probably about 10km. Took my daughter to the airport this morning. She is off to Newfoundland to be with her dad for the week. As much as I enjoy a week "off" from parental duties, I hate having to take her to fly by herself. I think it's harder on me than her...
Merry christmas to all - enjoy the day with friends, families, loved ones etc.!

I went out for a this afternoon to test out my new jacket and my new gloves. I left from the in-laws house and ended up going out to Barhaven and back for a total of just over 14 km.

Did 10km with the NOTL RoadRunners group -- a group of "ex-pats and orphans" who decided that the best thing to do in the middle of Christmas day was to go for a run.

Merry Christmas y'all!!!

I had a nice easy run with NinjaBunny in good running condition this morning. Last night, Mrs. Tortoise and I went out and drove around the neighbourhood looking at the Christmas lights. Some very impressive displays!!! :)

Oh yes - I received a runner's headlamp from Mrs. Tortoise. This will be very handy for my early start at the JFK 50 Mile race in 2012. I will also use it for my early Sunday morning runs into the Waterloo RR to get in 10-12 kms before joining the RR crew for their distances. As no one is training for a marathon at the moment they have 16-20 kms as their weekly long run.
