Love it! 4 left coasters start the thread! 8)

I'm meeting Jes for a long run this morning - likely with Andrea too. Hope to ramp it up a bit today since the next two weekends are write offs for running.

Just over 6km - nice and mild, but had to watch out for a couple of slippy patches after the freezing rain that fell earlier. Now on to the marathon of DH's family events - belated holiday brunch and a family surprise birthday party tonight (other side of his family). whee!

I'm going to investigate the ground conditions outside but I think that I have to do a short run today with the high of +2 predicted for Ottawa. I will also be throwing on my xc skis this afternoon for a ski with friends.

Near perfect conditons this morning in Goofy Land for a run .. 49F at the start and 57F at the end ..

Had a really nice 1:40:19 tempo effort this morning, in celebration of the 15th Anniversary of the Donald Duck 1/2 Marathon .. 2 photo ops and one port-a-potty break may have cost me a sub 1:40:xx today ... Though, still ended up with a 1:21 course PB ...  ... just icing and r&r'ng now at the resort for a couple of hourse .... 8)

Still pondering what my race goal / strategy for the Mickey Mouse Marathon will be, however ...

5.5K out on the roads this morning. Well, actually, on the paths wearing my Yak Traks. Slow going but no slipping or sliding. Then our group went over for a nice breakfast. More freezing rain on the drive home....

That's because none of you had gone to bed yet!! :P

Just home from spin class. Did some strength work beforehand (thanks, Mean-TEE  ). It was a tough class and I was bagged at the end.

Congrats on a course PB, Andy!

A very wet and muddy 7 km trail run with the trail runners in our running club. Through streams, over logs and around very deep muddy puddles. Interesting and a nice change of pace but I can't see myself doing that every weekend. Saturdays are suppose to be loooooooong runs.

I had a bit of a breakthrough run today. I've had to keep things really easy and low volume since my foot injury came back last month. Today I was able to do 14.5k in 90 minutes (6:12/km) which is the farthest and the fastest I've been able to go in a while. It felt great- I think I'm finally on the mend. :)
