Got my long run in this morning. Temperature a mild 19C with a light wind and humidity around 73% made it a lot better then yesterday's 29C! Actually it was pretty nice out there. I was out the door just before 5:30AM, almost Andy hours! Now to get cleaned up and head over to the park where I am manning a booth for Paws in the Park all day. So glad the humidity has decreased. Should be a nice day so Miss Hannah will be attending with me.

Good luck to my friends running Boilermaker! I have several running it for the first time including one on her birthday and one who has just started racing this year - it is her first 15K and her longest race! Utica weather is saying 66F with fog at present and going up to 82 today. Hope they have a cool morning for running!

Heading out for 9km with the RR.
This afternoon having a maniac and his 4 kids for a visit :D :D
We'll have something to eat and then head to a spot on the lake for the kids and dogs to swim and play (Sasha with us this weekend).
Looking forward to a great day :D :D :D

On my way out for a brick workout: 35K bike, 5K run. It's not too hot out there yet, which is nice.

8 miles done. That's Week 3 done. A bit scary that I am still in the four week 'pre season' and already doing higher mileage that I have in probably about 5 years.

Ramping it up this weekend.

30K today. I got it done bright and early, but it was still a tough slog towards the end. I had to stop a couple of times to refill water because it was getting VERY warm. I did a couple of loops of the beautiful new Downsview Park though! That was nice!

Good morning. It was too nice a morning to not try a run. Pleased that I still remember how.

Woke up at 8:40 and decided to drag myself out to the 9:00 run club... Ran/walked 10k with 2 of the girls I led in the half clinic. It wasn't much of an effort for a run, but it was a nice chat.

heading out this morning to meet some trail buddies for a long-ish run. It'll probably end up being 10-11 miles. I've done the route before but forget the exact distance. :P

5k at the stampede road race for me and my mother. 23:32 chip time for me - only a little bit slower than my PB, and good enough for 3rd in my AG! My mother got 2nd in her AG, and the hamsters each did the kids 400m race - so darned cute! Saw Turd & his kids out for the kids race - great runs by each of them!

Now to enjoy the sun - smoking hot already in the backyard!

Ended up with 11.5 miles. It is warm out but we were mostly shaded so it wasn't too bad. We also stopped at the river a couple of times--nothing like splashing glacier water on hot, salty skin. :)

Currently downing a Booster Juice.

I failed to drag my bike out in June so I dragged it out this morning. Put air in the tires and headed out for a 9k run. Came back and the tires lost about 5 PSI so they had a leak in them but slow enough to go for a short 12k ride. Came back from my ride and was tempted to go for a swim.

25km LSD this morning.

I think that I run too much; this morning I saw a pirate ship sailing on the Rideau canal with an orchestra playing Handel music. I hallucinating and need professional help.

Good to see you!

I was registered for the half but I bailed. I wasn't ready to deal with a half on a hot day, and chose instead to help my wife get the kids ready for their races. Right choice.

Sorry I missed you both! I ran the half, it was hot.... not my best race for a variety of reasons but I got it done!
