jackets?
We've talked about RM jackets in the past, but did not go through with them because they are expensive and we didn't have enough commitment.
Now people are asking about them again. :)
Before I do the legwork, I want to know how much interest there is.
We would likely go with sugoi, which is great quality but a little pricey. A jacket would be about $140. It's advertised as "thermal" but I would have to see them in person to see what that looks like.
We'd need a minimum of 24, possibly 48 (I don't know yet if we'd need the minimum for both men's/women's, or if we could mix). If it's 48 I'm not sure we'd be able to get the minimum.
Anyway, just putting this out there! Please only respond if you are reasonably sure you can and would pay that much. I don't want a whole bunch of "yeah let's do that!" and then when the time comes to pay, we can't get the minimum. :)

I think what Turd is trying to say is that in all likelihood, they'd be Orange.
(although the preliminary designs do have green in them).

I'd be more inclined to get the WindBlock (with pockets) Would be closer to $120 once all the extras are tallied ($99 base). It's more of a shell and can be worn in warmer weather on it's own, or cooler with any shell you already have (or bought separately).
Still Sugoi quality, but more versatile.

The reason I asked, was that I was thinking black with the orange logo. The hoodie I have is grey with the orange logo, so I wasn't sure.
Eta: I knew that Turd wasn't serious.....

Re: jackets?
I'm good for the money. I like Sugoi and their sizes work for me. The tricky part may be getting something everybody likes....which model are you looking at?

Mike thinks he has one of these and that it doesn't do a great job of blocking wind. :/ I'll look at samples of both if possible, and see how they are.

Re: jackets?
Also, I'm going to try to shave down the price a bit. The club has enough money in the bank to cover shipping and set-up costs, so it may end up being just the base price plus HST. :)

What doesn't feel warm enough for cycling is usually way warm for running so they would probably be ok (plus that model is unisex).
