Tuesday, Merry Christmas!

Postby Marg » Tue Dec 25, 2012 7:28 am

Hope everyone is waking up to fun times, yummy breakfast, time spent with loved ones etc
We woke up with a broken furnace. I'm bundled up and letting it get a bit more light out before tackling the annual Christmas run. Will keep it short given the chill but hot tub after ( the other tradition) will make it all worthwhile.

Merry Christmas to you and yours. <3

Up early for a beautiful long run by the water but ended up calling it off after 13K due to an unexpected calf cramp. Hopefully this is just a minor blip and not Santa's gift to me to replace the injuries I've recently outgrown. Now for a stress-free day to myself, eventually topped off with a Thai turkey stir fry and a couple of special edition beers.

Merry Christmas, Maniacs! Getting the turkey in the oven, making more turtles, maybe baking more cookies ... yummy turkey dinner last night with running friends, family turkey dinner (more like lunch) today, out to the in-laws tomorrow ... more than enough food consumed in three days to last a month! :D

Wishing everyone all the blessings of the season and all the best for 2013!

Merry Christmas to all! Got back yesterday from a weekend of visiting my sister & skiing in Calgary. Hosted my parents last night for nog and goodies. This afternoon it will be over to their place for turkey with my other two sisters and everyone's families. Meanwhile waiting for the kids to be up so presents can be opened here!

I did a nice 5K run before breakfast & presents. Now relaxing before I have to go back out for dinner.

No need to get all humbug-y!

Presents this morning, then took the kids sledding on the first real snowfall amount of the season, then a hike in the woods with Mrs McD and her parents, then a nice run on trails, now getting ready to eat our turkey!
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.

Annual Family Christmas Run - 5 km along our usual Christmas morning loop. A nice break from the eating and visiting of the rest of the day. Great Christmas, but I'm tired!

Merry Christmas!

Sammy and I went down to surrey yesterday and spent the night at my sister's house... so we could be there first thing this morning when the twins opened their presents! It was a good day. :) I did not run. I did eat.
