Sonia- bummer about your tree!

Easy 10K this morning- yesterday's slush turned to very slick ice overnight, so I had to be very careful- it was very slippery.

Rest day for me, after taking last week off, I'm feeling a bitt pooped. Long run planned for tomorrow, and hoping for nice conditions.

Final day of self-imposed rest week for me. Am I ever happy it's March...spring and time change are just around the corner. Still sore from shoveling Wednesday night...darn snow blower broke the auger belt after 1 pass of the driveway, so I had to shovel all of it. The lesson there was I need to work on upper body conditioning, I thought I was going to die shoveling :)

Good morning and welcome to March! With the bright sunshine today it's not exactly coming in like a lion, but the wind in the trees this morning was definitely roaring like one. Let's hope March goes out like a lamb, regardless. :)

Pretty good run on the TM for me this morning, 7.7 miles. It didn't start off that well, in the sense that something just seemed "off". Hard to describe, but it felt as though either a) my shoes were frozen (which they weren't), or b) the belt was slippery (which it wasn't). It felt as though I was going to slip off the machine, so weird. So I made a conscious effort to breathe deeper, relax my upper body, loosen my stride, etc., and after a few minutes everything felt normal. Maybe I was just tired, but it was a strange few minutes for sure.

Hope everyone has a good weekend, and best of luck to those doing the Chilly Half!

Yay Friday!! Going for a run at lunch, usual route of just under 11km. Then I have to write my accounting mid-term. Yikes! I get to log in from work and do it online and hope it goes ok.

Have a great day!

No sun here today, just clouds and slush. I went to the gym.

No gym workout for me today.

Easy run this morning and a nice walk this afternoon.

I am sort of resting for the Chilly Half on Sunday.

Our March is coming in like a lamb: a really mild -6C/-10WC. Guess that means we'll have a lion to look forward to around Easter. Some years, it seems like our Marchs are more "in like a lion, out like Godzilla."

Had a nice 45 minute walk with my wife before work this morning. Planning to hit Y for strength training after work. But you know what they say about best laid plans... :)

I haven't run since Tuesday. Sick. Again. ugh. Walking/moving kills my throat so I probably won't run until I have to on Sunday.

Did a slow 7k in the sun today. I OD'd on beer when I was down in the states and ended up with a celiac extravaganza and was in bed all day yesterday. It's like the rat and the electric shock...but I love beer.
