My bib number 3271. I'm on me way to becoming Runner Emeritus (RE) ... . Today I ran 29 Km on a treadmill in 2 hours 39 minutes and 45 seconds. Still a bit slow but hopefully I'll break my ATB PB and at 50 years of age I'll become RE. First time in 8 years that I actually follow a formal training program .....

2013 GOALS:

- Compete in the "Early Bird Sprint Triathlon" in May
- Run a 5km pb during the "Bushtukah Canada Day Road Race"
- Complete an Olympic distance triathlon
- Cycle > 33 km / hr during the cycle portion of a Sprint Triathlon.
- Stay healthy and happy

Races

April 28th: Manotick 10km (40:16)
May 18th: Ottawa Early Bird Sprint Triathlon (DNF)
June 8th: Riverkeeper SuperSprint (2nd overall)
July 1st: Bushtukah Canada Day 5km (18:37)

An unexpected cold last Thursday forced me to cut on this week training. I had to consume more oil of oregano than usual to get rid of the cold quickly. So today I was able to do 16 Kms (10 miles). I was supposed to run 29 Kms yesterday but the cold didn't allow me to do so......
