Finally something to report in the daily thread again! 7km this morning - very slow, with liberal inclusion of walk breaks, but after three weeks of virtually no running, I'm glad to be back at it.

Can't decide what to do today. I was going to swim, but I'm more in the mood to run- perhaps will go to the gym and run on the treadmill.

Good luck and have fun!!! Which reminds me, when I get back from New Mexico, I shall have to double check my headlamp and back-up flashlight some night!

It was supposed to be a rest day on my Shiprock, New Mexico taper but it was sooooooooo nice out. I ended up doing a nice 15 km trail run on the Walter Bean trail near my place!! Very enjoyable!! :)

Did 16km in light drizzle this morning, it was very nothing rain that barely got us damp.

That was followed with coffee and snacks and some schmoozing, then a 2km jog to GI before a very soggy Dragon Boat practice. Either my egg white omelet for second breakfast was inadequate or crap sleep last night caught up with me, I completely powered out about 10 minutes before practice ended. Third breakfast and beer perked me up for a while but I'm ready for a nap about now.

I was planning to run today but I was so tired that I took two naps and read my book instead. :)
