Run for the Toad 2013 (& Training Run July 27)

I thought for sure there was a Toad thread, but couldn't find it.

So, I've started a new one!

My BFF and I are registered for the 50K event (our first, <gulp>). We're also going to the Training Run on July 27 (running 2x12.5K loops). Anyone else racing on October 5 or doing the training run on July 27?

I am registered for the 50K (also my first, double-<gulp>!), and I will be running 25K on July 27th.

It seems to have rubbed off on my wife, because she and her running partner have both decided to run the 25K (their longest races are 10K, triple-<gulp>!) and will be doing 12.5K on the 27th.

Our family of five is camping out Friday and Saturday night, so I hope the weather is nice.
