Just back from a quick 3k and then some yoga before work. The work day is too busy to be able to fit a yoga class in at lunch today, sadly, so 15 minutes on my own will have to do.

Severely dragging my butt today. Did 15km with 6 x 1600m but couldn't get my pace anywhere near where it should have been. Thank goodness tomorrow is a rest day.................
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.

brutal sleep last night due to this head cold, but since I was up anyway, I decided to hit the pool for a short swim. 40 minutes is better than nothing, and it woke me up a bit.

Jesse, yuck! Summer colds are the worst :( Get better!

I finally managed a quality tempo run! That means I kept distance and pace. The idea was to see how far I could go in 40 minutes. That turned out to be just under 8K. I did the 5 1 mile loops around my condo in 40:13, which is pretty much what I was doing it at last year as well.

I'm fighting for the quality workouts now, and not worrying so much about the extra clinic/run commute miles. So the focus is on recovery really.

Total run today was 11.2K in 1hr even.

Heading out for just under 11km at lunch. Was chilly this morning but supposed to warm up nicely. Some strength work in the basement this evening :)

Have a great day!

I run because it's my passion, and not just a sport. Every time I walk out the door, I know why I'm going where I'm going and I'm already focused on that special place where I find my peace and solitude. Running, to me, is more than just a physical exercise...it's a consistent reward for victory!

Having a relaxing day, don't think I'll get back to town in time for a run with the gals. I suppose I could go on my own if we get home in time ? We shall see.

Very nice start to the day with a 15 km run in the beautiful weather. I know it doesn't feel like summer but running is so much better when it's not chokingly hot and humid. Now having a crazy day at work (like that's new). Have a good one, people!

Another cool 8K run this morning. It's hard to get used to the weather, but it least it wasn't raining!

Tough 3K for me, since I am not used to the heat or the hills. The scenery, on the other hand, is amazing and I wish I could run here all the time. I'd eventually get used to the hills!

I did 5.6 this morning around my parents' place and was over a minute and a half faster than on Sunday... not really thinking about pace during the run, but YAY when I saw that after! It is perfect running weather! We might go for a bike ride a bit later on.

Jesse, I'm sorry to hear you're so

Jesse, I'm sorry to hear you're so sick. Summer colds suck, and SINUS colds suck big time. :( Good for you on the swim though! I've never swam 40 minutes so I'm impressed even if it was short!

I had a nagging headache all day, but went for a run and it was cured! :D Five kilometers run--and I'm about back to my normal pace--plus a couple of kilometers walk.
