Gym for me, too. It's gross and yucky here today. 30-min run on the TM planned.

Good workout for me this morning- trying to sharpen up a bit for the Batawa Fat Ass 25K next weekend.

3km warm up, 2 x 350m hills, 2 x 5 mins at 10K race pace, 2 km cool down.
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.

Morning! Rest day! I'm already antsy. I think 2 more days of this might send me to the edge of sanity. Trusting that it will make the legs ready to go on race day though! I read Lanni Marchant's Scotia race report, and if resting from Thurs - Sat is good enough for her - and she has an amazing race - it's good enough for me!

Good luck Sylvie!

Raining here, will likely rest (other than the pup walk post-trickortreaters)

I run because it's my passion, and not just a sport. Every time I walk out the door, I know why I'm going where I'm going and I'm already focused on that special place where I find my peace and solitude. Running, to me, is more than just a physical exercise...it's a consistent reward for victory!

Happy because I was able to send off a whole bunch of files today. Crossing my fingers the feedback doesn't involve a whole lot of changes, ha ha. It is incredibly frustrating when people come up with stuff at the last minute, especially when they've already been asked for their input a long time before. But juggling it all is what pays the bills, so...

Unplanned rest day for me. It was supposed to be a gym day but I just didn't feel like getting up after staying up too late and then falling asleep on the couch with a cat asleep on me... My knee feels much more normal today, just a couple of twinges this morning and nothing since. As I was going down the stairs to the subway last night after work, I remembered that a couple of days before some wannabe-race-car-driver on the TTC was starting and stopping very abruptly, and at one point I literally almost hit the floor, was swaying from one of the straps and almost couldn't hold on. So I'm wondering if that torqued my knee and it's taken a couple of days to recover. Planning a TM run for tomorrow morning and hoping it's all good again. :)

Best wishes to everyone racing Hamilton, New York and anywhere else this weekend! Many of you will be travelling tomorrow, so safe travel wishes to all.
