3rd day in a row of starting the daily thread, someone else's turn tomorrow,

Another great day is shaping up out there.

Morning Habs!

I ran this morning! I was going to go to run club last night, but the conditions were terrible, and I said to myself, if there was ever a time to let yourself skip a run, this is it. No clinic, no race... blah! Just stayed home with DH!

This morning was 8.2K VERY slowly. It felt nice! No garmin, some music. Ahhhh...

My left leg was a bit sore after yesterday's intervals, so I took it easy on my 8 km run this morning.

Gym day today. Half an hour on the elliptical followed by upper body weights and a bit of core work. Very busy day at work so that's it for me!

Early morning 14K. Thanks to the time change, I got to see a nice sunrise at the end, which unfortunately means some more snow later today.

Today will be 18 days in a row of running for me! :)

I ran a really soggy-windy 8K last night. Today, I'm running home from work. My original idea was to run into work tomorrow, but my planning for that went askew and I forgot to pack clothes for tomorrow to bring into work today.

11km done in the lovely weather - it is 0C outside and felt so nice.

I run because it's my passion, and not just a sport. Every time I walk out the door, I know why I'm going where I'm going and I'm already focused on that special place where I find my peace and solitude. Running, to me, is more than just a physical exercise...it's a consistent reward for victory!

It's three-in-a-row Thursday for me as well, since this was the first time since mid-September (when I had my Achilles flare-up) that I've run a third day in a row. I ran just under 9K with my friend Mike today, and it was really nice.

Well, my first time running since the marathon! Only a km total, in street clothes, keeping up with my son on his bike on the way to swim lessons, but still...

Slowish and soggy 5ish k run. My legs were whining on the return trip because of hills and presumably side effects of last nights blood donation.
