Just under 12km this morning, with hill repeats on muddy trails in the rain.
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.
Re: Tuesday. By Trixiee
An easy 10K in the humid drizzle this morning. Felt pretty good though.

I hurt myself on a 30 mins run last night Started having sharp intense pain in the groin area... this came out of nowhere and it was like spasms and it will still keep going after I stopped running and was walking. I had to take advil in the middle of the night because it hurt too much. Today, it's a bit tender but no more spasm. I have no idea where this is coming from. Day off today for St-Jean-Baptiste, grey day and I can't run! Boo!

Re: Tuesday. By Trixiee
This morning was the first run since Saturday night, and I ended up cutting it short because my foot was really hurting. Not too much short - 12 km instead of 13 km - but that was the quickest way home. Interestingly enough, the heel pain is largely gone, but I am now having nerve pain along the side of my foot. At least that's what I think it is - a burning sensation rather than a deep muscle pain. I felt it towards the end of Saturday's run, and afterwards, but it faded away. And it's fading away now. So, I am contemplating my next move, but I think the first step is to not run for a few days. I'll see tomorrow how things feel on the elliptical. Bah humbug.
Hope everyone else is feeling much better!

Humid and raining today. Did 30 mins on the rowing machine this morning. Body felt tired and beaten up after soccer scrimmage last night.

a shade over 4 km this morning - started in drizzle, ended in full rain, but ran into a friend on the way who I hadn't seen in a while and we stopped to chat even in the wet!
I got home and was taking off my socks and C asked me why - I explained so I wouldn't get water all over the house. Her response - "But you had shoes on Mama! Your socks shouldn't be wet!". If only her logic held true.

Holiday here in Québec. I'm resting my toe which I hurt tripping over a tree root on yesterday's run. Probably no running tomorrow, either.

4 miles on TM for me tonight!
Re: Tuesday. By Trixiee
Speedwork Tuesday: 4x1M threshold intervals (5:53, 5:53, 5:52, 5:51) with 428m jog recoveries + WU/CD for 15K. Quite warm and my legs were a little sluggish but it was good to get some work in so soon after the last race.
Re: Tuesday. By Trixiee
I did 5K on the TM today, it was way too wet for me to venture outside!

6 km tonight, we did our "hilly" route, I managed the hill non-stop ... barely.
