Ugh. Love ATB but not today! Conditions are ugly. Somehow I have to check in mentally. This could hard. :(

Done! No PB or anything, but actually faster than I thought I would be. 2:52:45. It was windy and chilly, but the snow held off!

8K on the TM for me. I wimped out and didn't want to head out in the cold wind, LOL.

20K here in gorgeous weather. It's a bit cloudier than yesterday, but that just kept the temperature perfect. Saucony/BMO Marathon had an aid station set up near Science World with gatorade, water, gels, and powerbars-- made me very excited for the BMO half.

It definitely wasn't easy! But like Lisa, I love this race, and I'm never sorry once it's over. My only goal today was to finish, and I did, in 2:49:29 (chip time). I was expecting to be over 3 hours, but was pleasantly surprised to be able to start running right away - normally I have to walk for at least a km because it's too painful otherwise. Even if I physically warm it up my legs (hot water, hot pad, stretching) beforehand, which I do before every run. So no complaints! Well, except about the wind in Hamilton, which at times was both strong and cold.

There is a very light snowfall happening as I type this - looking forward to spending the rest of the day and the evening indoors. :)

Had a great 50 minute run today.

We convinced our fast participant to go with the Run Stronger group as none of the leaders in the Learn to Run group had enough energy to keep up with him.

One more clinic and then it's time for the Sun Run.

16k tonight with Steve on his bike. It was a beautiful 14C, but quickly cooled down as the sun dropped.

30K at ATB for me...nice to see some familiar faces!! Weather turned out to be better than forecast (thank goodness), though it did get ugly after I got home!
