Sunny Saturday

Postby jharbeck » Sat Jul 15, 2017 1:35 pm

Lovely day for a run here in the big noisy smoke. Just a little humid but not too hot. I did 13 km, bringing my 30-total up to almost 100 km and my 7-day up to a half marathon. Happy to be building distance, anyway! And then a swim after 8)
Marathons: 1; 30k: 2; Half marathons: 6; Shorter: Um, I've lost track
PBs: Half-marathon: 1:35:32; 5K: 19:54 (both 2012)

Well I'm supposed to be Mon/Wed/Fri and ended up with just Mon/Sat this week. :/

And today sucked.

I supposedly did 6.8km and my garmin is acting very strangely ever since I was playing with setting at the navigation course a few weeks ago so I need to figure out what I've messed up on there. Anyway. it sucked today and I walked roughly half of my "run". I don't know why all my runs suck these days. Maybe I need to do a learn to run clinic. :/

We had a beautiful sunny day here, and I ran a slow, slow 5.5k on the gravel path at the high school. It was just what I needed. :)

And I did almost a half-marathon of running this week, too!

Hot, hot, hot in SE Alberta. It got to 36C today, thankfully I was done 13k when it was still "only" 27.
