LOTS of Scotiabank Pics - use high speed!!!

Postby Kristi » Sun Sep 24, 2006 6:26 pm

What a fabulous day for cheering on some maniacs! It was great to be out there and see lots of friendly smiles. I took a LOT of pictures (over 200) so if you have a picture here, chances are I have a few more as well that I can send you if you're interested. Just let me know!

At the start line:

Jacc and Chris L ready to go!!
Image

Doonst (Sheldon) and Ed Fizz (Alain)
Image

Kiza, who had a bit of a Superman pose happening as she scanned the crowd for Angela.
Image

Ian - ready to go for his first marathon!! In good spirits as always!
Image

Bman (Brian) ready to take off. Let's get started already!!
Image

At the 5k mark:

Stephan starting out strong.
Image

Alain (who really needs an RM shirt because he's super quick and hard to catch on camera!)
Image

Robbie-T looking strong and happy!
Image

Ray, who looked this happy almost the whole time.
Image

Jacc having a great time with a smile for everyone!
Image

Sheldon - 2 in 24!! You would never know that he ran a 1/2 marathon yesterday too!
Image

ChrisL
Image

Can you spot Bman's yellow visor?
Image

Heather..wait for the next pic...
Image

...with the ponytail swish!
Image

Robert, who almost snuck by me!
Image

Kiza and Angela - you can almost hear Kiza saying - but it's time for a walk break!!
Image

Tortoise (Ken), who might be just about the happiest runner ever!
Image

La (Lesley) and Baldguy (James) - the fabulous mobile cheering squad!

There are still lots more....

Barbara and Tracy
Image

Then I walked to the 15.5k area and took some more pics!

Stella (Heather) - no, her feet don't ever touch the ground.
Image

Alain
Image

Stephan
Image

Image

Robbie T
Image

Jacc
Image

Sheldon
Image

Lisa
Image

Chris
Image

Heather
Image

Brian
Image

Ken
Image

Moe and Arrow - running their first marathon!!
Image

Kiza and Angela
Image

RonPerth - I had no idea who he was, he just saw me, ran up and said "take a picture of me" - so I did!
Image

Angela (runlikeagirl) - who also needs an orange shirt!
Image

Lesley (campbellskid)
Image

Lesley and I (DeVelara rode by at about 20k and took my camera!)
Image

Dave and his one sad bunny ear!
Image

I almost missed Dave running!
Image

This might be my favourite picture of the day - you'll notice that Ray is running across the road (not quite in the same direction of everyone else) as he had to come over and give us high fives!
Image

Way to go Lesley!!
Image

Alain, just in the finishing stretch.
Image

Ray in the finishing stretch (this is the only time that I saw him that he wasn't smiling)
Image

Robbie T - with the same form that he started running with.
Image

Chris, at about the 41k mark
Image

Brian with his support crew (Heather)
Image

Moe and Arrow running proudly towards the finish line (I may have had a little tear in my eye at this point!)
