That's the one that I'm basing my LSD & hill training on 8) I've tweaked it to get swims & spinning in there...

Umm, ATB does not offer a triathlon, Tracy .... and, even if they did, me thinks the waters in Hamilton Bay would be a tad bit chilly at that time of year .... brrrrrrr

ah, but the cold will have congealed the grossness that is the Bay water.

Although I must admit this is the only time of year that the pollution from the smokestacks look nice (frosty instead of dirty). and the xmas lights will be up soon

Well, I'm not doing the swim in the bay part with Tracy, but I just registered and reserved my hotel.

Needed a good motivational goal, so thats it. Now I just need to decide on what fall marathon I want to run. $10 running room coupon will probably help with my x-mas shoping for myself also.

I'm likely in, but no hotel for me, either. I can easily drive there/back the same day.

They'd have to change the name to Across The Bay.

ATB is in my schedule, guess I'll have to register some time. Then I need to find a warm hotel room to share.

They STILL have Dave, Stefan, our friends Pete and Kelley and I in the picture! :) :) :) I guess I'll have to do it then.

I think they didn't fill up till February or later last year. S.O. did it and they got in no problem.

I've run it the past 2 years (15k relay last year, 30k this year) so I'll be there again this year. I might attempt it at marathon race pace which should give me a couple minutes PB. I'll be driving down the morning of the race.

I'd like to be in for ATB. But... my kids and hubby and I did the ATB's "To the Bay and Back 5k" together the last couple of years, and it seems to have become a bit of a tradition. So if the kids feel strongly that they want me in the 5k, I'll sign up for that instead of 30k.

Last year, I finished it holding my son's hat, gloves, jacket, LS shirt, and with my own jacket around my waist...and a helpful spectator yelled out, "Next time don't wear so much!"
