I think we may need name tags.

When we had our first get together at The Wolfe...the pre-race pasta dinner we had names tags (generously provided by the Federal Government no less...courtesy of a maniac). Many people put both their RM names and their birth names on the tag. I think as a group we found the tags really useful...and it was a great icebreaker...as people strolled around and discovered what Maniacs look like a real life :D :D

ETA: hmmm...maybe we could write our names on our race bibs...just a thought... :D

ride request to ATB from TO

Postby roadrunner » Fri Mar 02, 2007 11:38 am

HI everybody. I am visiting Toronto from Winnnipeg and just wondering if I can get a ride to Around The Bay the day of the race or if I can share floor space and expenses on hotel room day before. Roadrunner - Ed W.

It looks like I will take the train back to Ottawa after the race. This raises one question. Are there Toronto Maniac willing to give me a lift to the train station? I plan to take the train leaving at 6:30pm.
I run because it's fun.

I expect I will be taking the train back to Kingston. At this point no one has "reserved" a seat in our car...so how about we plan to get you to the train station.

I'm in too: #15.

Looking forward to meeting y'all in person.

CBC TV's Sunday Report is planning to film some joggling at the race too – pretty cool.
