Scott... please - do find some way to put this together...

And if you need any help in the printing or binding.. give me a shout, I still have a connection that I may be able to use...

This would be an amazing decompression project I think...

Well, Scotty took your advice and sent this gem to the Public Affairs Officer (PAffO) with the Task Force...he happens to be a friend of ours anyway. :D

So, Scotty has to send him some biographical information and a pic of him running and then he will be published. But Scotty didn't say where, when or how...so when I get the info I will let you know. If it goes into a military publication I will link it to here when it happens...but I'm hoping for something more widespread like a civillian publication of some sort.

Anything that Scotty writes regarding time in KAF has to be approved through the PAffO to be sure that Operational Security is not compromized.

New update...the article will be likely in any or all of the following: Halifax Chronicle Herald, Halifax Daily News, Moncton Times and Transcript and possible the Fredericton Daily Gleaner.

As for gmaps locations...a simple google search turns this up:

But, you have to know how to search for it...ie coordinates...which are easy enough to find. These are old pics from 2002 when the US first went to A-stan and bombed KAF as a strategic target.

Scotty, that was a fantastic piece. Hopefully, it will get picked up by The Canadian Press as well. I spend most of my day monitoring CP for work, so I'll keep an eye out.

You do need to get yourself some juggling beanbags, then you can alter the sign to say "Joggling Route".

Scotty, your writings keep impressing me. Really, seriously, I think you should consider publishing some of your stuff at some point. You have a wonderful talent for writing. I was in Afghanistan for a few minutes while I read your text and it's no surprise to me that someone would want to interview you after reading this text.

Keep feeding us with your stories. :D

I was going to send him his clubs...but they are probably a bit too flashy and might draw the attention of the wrong people. I guess he'll have to settle for his True Canadian balls.
