i have to bike workouts this week that scare the crap out of me. Today is one of them.
45 minute warm up at a good steady pace
3 x 15 minutes climbing at 4-6% 60-70 rpm with 6 minute recoveries
cool down
Total time: 2 hours
I built a computrainer course that will hopefully fulfill the needs of the workout, but I might have been a bit short on the hills. We'll see. Then Sunday, is the next frightening one.
I have an appointment with my physio today. I'll see what he thinks of the MRI thing......

Up way too late last night and up way too early this morning helping the DS finish off his science fair project.
My cold or whatever it is seems to be feeling a little better. Maybe I will actually get back to the gym tomorrow. Chinese food lunch at work today, yummy!
Have a great day everyone,
Colleen

OMG, I am exhausted... long day yesterday, no sleep last night...
But, Lunch with a MANIAC today (forgive me if I'm grumpy OK? ... and if I fall asleep in my soup, just give me a kick... )
Tonight, pool. For the second time this week! This is a biggie for me

Taking another day off today ... steppy feeling/symptoms appears to be clearing and replaced with sniffles and coughing ... is this a good thing ???
Getting a bit restless, stuck inside for over three days now ... maybe a hop and quick spin today, we'll see ....

It's Wednesday, which means I'm playing soccer tonight. My first time getting there by bus from my new job.
I'm wearing my spring jacket today. (Yeah yeah, I'll be back to my winter one, especially for the parade on Sunday, but I'm going with spring today!)

Rested the last two days, my legs were so sore. Hopefully I will get away from the office at a decent time (yeah, right ) and go outside for a run this evening...while there is still daylight!

I had an unplanned rest day yesterday. I went to see Zodiac last night, which was good. Robert Downey Jr. was amazing! So was Mark Ruffalo.
Instead of RunPub tonight, it will be BikePub, to make up for the long bike ride I'm going to miss this weekend (and the two mid-week rides I'm also missing ). I can run while in Montreal, so I'm happy to spend the evening on my bike. I might even do a short bike ride tomorrow morning before work.

Double Digits!!!! I haven't seen that mileage on a mid week run in a long time!!! I ran 10.6 km or was that 1/2 of a half marathon or maybe a quarter marathon!! It was a little cooler than it has been and I frosted up during the run. Had to avoid ice patches from frozen puddles!!
It also was a run to beat the sun!!! I left in the dark and when I got back there was a hint of light on he horizon!!
That's all I have to say about that!!
Doug, 2 days of rest!! Better get out there today!! The boot woman is a lot closer to you than to me!!

No one cares what I would do; therefore, I can do anything!!
I ran 42.2k; Let's see the other donald try to trump that

16K on the schedule tonight. The running part is no problem, but man the daily grind of this schedule is wearing thin. Join me, won't you, as we watch a healthy 30 year old man descend into madness...
I'm sure most of you don't need reminding, but today is a very special day on the calendar. It's Valentine's Payback Day if you will. Who knew it would become such an international movement.
Tonight your first place Toronto Raptors take on The New York Knicks. Should be a gimme, as we're on a roll again.

so no pool again this morning. Ian ended up working all night, and I'm taking the opportunity to let my shoulder rest up some more.
Likely another easy 5-6.5km run later. Gotta take advantage of the nice weather before it's gone again. St. Patrick's Day is coming, we're not out of the woods here yet.

At least half of us don't need a reminder.
