Rest day today. Don't look like there will be much snow left when this rain is over.

Have a great Wednesday

Have been sick since last Wednesday (better now, than a month from now...). This morning will be my first run since then. It will be a nice and slow 4 km run so I don't get the heart rate too high and set me back.

Have a great day everyone.

As I finished my 16K run last night, I actually uttered the words [Austin Powers]"And I'm spent."[/Austin Powers]. It's a rest day today. I'll do an easy run tomorrow, and more speed on Friday morning.

i have to bike workouts this week that scare the crap out of me. Today is one of them.

45 minute warm up at a good steady pace
3 x 15 minutes climbing at 4-6% 60-70 rpm with 6 minute recoveries
cool down

Total time: 2 hours

I built a computrainer course that will hopefully fulfill the needs of the workout, but I might have been a bit short on the hills. We'll see. Then Sunday, is the next frightening one.

I have an appointment with my physio today. I'll see what he thinks of the MRI thing......

I'm so excited about Spring that even the rain makes me happy! Tonight is our clinic's first night of hills. Hopefully I'll actually make it to the RR today - that hasn't been going so well lately.

Up way too late last night and up way too early this morning helping the DS finish off his science fair project.

My cold or whatever it is seems to be feeling a little better. Maybe I will actually get back to the gym tomorrow. Chinese food lunch at work today, yummy!

Have a great day everyone,

Colleen

It's Wednesday, which means I'm playing soccer tonight. My first time getting there by bus from my new job.

I'm wearing my spring jacket today. (Yeah yeah, I'll be back to my winter one, especially for the parade on Sunday, but I'm going with spring today!)

I bought new running shoes last night. I took them to the gym this morning for a treadmill run since they are a new model, but there is some weird pinching thing going on in my upper back, so I stopped after a few minutes.

I had an unplanned rest day yesterday. I went to see Zodiac last night, which was good. Robert Downey Jr. was amazing! So was Mark Ruffalo.

Instead of RunPub tonight, it will be BikePub, to make up for the long bike ride I'm going to miss this weekend (and the two mid-week rides I'm also missing  ). I can run while in Montreal, so I'm happy to spend the evening on my bike. I might even do a short bike ride tomorrow morning before work.

4X1 miles at 7:30
10 min cool down

Tonight - weights and another 45 min easy run (ugh!) Why I skip workouts I'll never know! I guess, I don't really skip them - I just make them up later which is why I have two runs today....

Double Digits!!!! I haven't seen that mileage on a mid week run in a long time!!! I ran 10.6 km or was that 1/2 of a half marathon or maybe a quarter marathon!! It was a little cooler than it has been and I frosted up during the run. Had to avoid ice patches from frozen puddles!!

It also was a run to beat the sun!!! I left in the dark and when I got back there was a hint of light on he horizon!!

That's all I have to say about that!!

Doug, 2 days of rest!! Better get out there today!! The boot woman is a lot closer to you than to me!!
No one cares what I would do; therefore, I can do anything!!

I ran 42.2k; Let's see the other donald try to trump that

16K on the schedule tonight. The running part is no problem, but man the daily grind of this schedule is wearing thin. Join me, won't you, as we watch a healthy 30 year old man descend into madness... :?

I'm sure most of you don't need reminding, but today is a very special day on the calendar. It's Valentine's Payback Day if you will. Who knew it would become such an international movement.

Tonight your first place Toronto Raptors take on The New York Knicks. Should be a gimme, as we're on a roll again.

A balmy +10ºC here on the Northern edge of COTU. Tonight will be 7 hills after I do the Heart Rate Traing talk at the RR Marathon Clinic. I will use my discount coupon to buy gels and eLoad :D .

Have a great day

so no pool again this morning. Ian ended up working all night, and I'm taking the opportunity to let my shoulder rest up some more.

Likely another easy 5-6.5km run later. Gotta take advantage of the nice weather before it's gone again. St. Patrick's Day is coming, we're not out of the woods here yet. :?
