Christmas Tuesday

Postby mlazenby » Tue Dec 25, 2007 12:01 am

My first daily thread. Guess everyone else is waiting for Santa. No running for me as I'm still waiting for my knee to heal. Just lots of loud rock music. Merry Christmas.

About to head to bed. DH and I will run about 5K in the morning when we get up, before we do the whirlwind of multiple family Christmas celebrations (first one was tonight).

Merry Christmas Maniacs!

it's only 11:04pm on Christmas eve - and we just finished cleaning up from the company that was over - wonderful evening spent with good friends! And lots of wine and food - simply the best!

So, as for plans for Christmas day - will try to take a dog or two out for a run, get our stuff packed for Kona, and enjoy the day!

Feliz Navidad everyone!

Will probably do 2 miles in about 6hrs, and then back to sleep. And then open presents. And then I'll eat like a pig. And then it's back to bed.

ate so much today!

dinner at um... a relative's? not sure how to explain that one, lol. anyway, we normally don't do presents on christmas eve but decided to today, so that's all done! what will we do with ourselves tomorrow?? lol I am happy to have new RAM for my computer, so it is much faster.

Oh yeah, I made the mistake of leaving the cookies out when we went for supper--came home to a broken plate and pieces of cookie all over the floor, plus puppy puke in the bedroom. lol I guess Sammy wanted some christmas treats too!

headed to bed now...

MERRY CHRISTMAS MANIACS!!!

and the wrapping marathon continues...sadly it's a yearly tradition. :?

No time for running tomorrow it'll be open presents, have breakfast, make 2 casseroles, go to MIL's (after I drag the girlies away from their presents), the off to my parents for dinner.

I'm going to try to get out on boxing day, we're having company for dinner so it's iffy. My social calendar is getting a little full. ;)

Oh my goodness, I'm so tired!!! I acn only guess it's from my run yesterday, which was my longest for a long time.

I had a lovely and fun Christmas eve with La and her family last night, and now I'm putting the final things together to head to my parents' later this morning. I had planned to get out for a run, but... well, I'm TIRED! I might try to get out for something very short, or might just accept that I'm "getting back into it" and go tomorrow.

Carla, your new av pic is HOT! :)

Merry Christmas, folks. :)

Up and getting ready to head out the door for 8 x 400! Looks like the boys will be sleeping for a while yet!

We'll open gifts just before lunch-time is my guess!

Then, cook brunch, get turkey stuffed and into the oven, then off to MIL's for Tom & Jerry's! :) ( this is a not a drink for the qeezy, or those worried about raw eggs - Rum, boiling water, topped off with whipped until frothy eggs, some sugar and nutmeg.

Presents are opened, kids are playing with their toys. DH is using the treadmill first, I'm going to make the casserole to take to SIL's later today, and then I'm going to try to fit in a short run.

Merry Christmas maniacs.

Merry Christmas everyone! I am about to head out for 12K on my own- Dave forgot his running jacket. :( I love running on Christmas, especially when I know how much food I'll be eating today. :? We'll open our gifts later on in the morning.

I hope Santa came for all the Maniacs, and that noone was on the NAUGHTY list... ha ha!

Cool, we were able to keep our trip secret two years in a row, and the kids found out on Christmas morning!

MERRY CHRISTMAS MANIACS!!!

I am just back from a fabulous 11 km Christmas morning run with NinjaBunny. The streets were mostly empty and we could run on main streets without traffic. Yeah!! It was quiet and calm ( no wind). What a great run.

Y'all have a great day!!!

Just got back from a 'really long' 10k run in great sunny weather. Legs just didn't want to get going. Now to enjoy the rest the day off.
