Happy New Year everyone! Hope 2008 will be your best running year ever.

I am paying a rare holiday visit to my parents. A 15h train ride is on the schedule today with my daughters. Wish me good luck. Is walking to the bathroom considered a workout??
I run because it's fun.

In another life:
3 marathons including Boston twice (PB: 3:47), 6 halfs (PB: 1:45), 6 10k (PB: 46:41) and 3 5ks (PB: 21:00)

Woke up to a winter wonderland...snow and more snow.
It's technically a non running day on my schedule but I'm going to do an hour run with a local running club to welcome the New Year.

Walk C-Moss...and see her bounce around in the snow...and just have a lazy day at home.

Here's to the beginning of awesome 2008 for each of you :D

Happy New Year!

No run for me today, I did 13K on the treadmill last night to finish up the year at a nice round number.

Will likely de-Christmas the house today! That's a workout on its own, up and down the stairs over and over with bins of decorations!

Hope there are not too many headaches this morning

Happy Happy.

Plan called for (4x800) x 2 Repeats today. It has been a couple of months since I did any 800's. Settled for 1 set of 4x800 wrapped around a 15km run. Good start to the New Year. Finished before the snow really started. Environment Canada is calling for only 10cm, hope they are right.

Registered for two ultimatexc races today. The 42.2km in Val Morin, Quebec and the 50k in Moab, Utah. So with Boston, and a return trip to Haliburton, I guess my big races for 2008 are planned.

Just going to put the feet up for the rest of the day. Back to work tomorrow.

Enjoy

I'll likely run a bit on the beach today... we'll see! After 12+ hours at Disney yesterday, I'm pooped! Want to shop a bit more... heading from Orlando to Daytona later today.

HAPPY NEW YEAR, MANIACS!! :)

Weather Network on the internet, and the Environment Canada Website say only 10 - 12 cm of snow... I'll choose to go with that forecast!

Happy New Year everyone...hope everyone had a happy and safe night....my wife , daughters and I ordered in and had a bucnh of movies to watch, but we got hooked on a marathon session of " Jon and Kate plus 8" on the TLC network.......one epidosde had them going to Disney and they stayed at the place we'll be staying at ( Wilderness Lodge) in March so that was kinda neat to see........that is one busy household!!

It snowing like crazy out there now, but it looks like the soft powdery stuff so I'll try to get a good run in this morning.

I think I have developed an unhealthy obsession with Google Earth, and have spent at least 10 cumulative hours on it in the past few days (and that's just looking at the American southwest). I have my next two decades of road trips just about planned out...

I need to do something productive today... like go watch a movie.

Happy New Year everyone. :)
2008 has to be better than 2007.

Today is the official beginning of my marathon schedule, so I will run. Probably about 10K.

Have a great day.

Happy 2008!

We went out for supper last night. Tickets to the Jr ranks were $5 each with food from my favorite mexican restaurant on buffet. Holy cow! The food was awesome! I think we ate $5 worth of each dish each! At the actual restaurant what we ate would have been a $50+ meal. Totally worth $10. :D :D

We might go sledding later before the next snow storm hits. Gotta love Atlantic Canada...
I used to run. All the time.
Now? Notsomuch.
I'm still a runner, though.
Life is fluid and ever changing. I am too.

Same here with the weather station on Nintendo Wii....I can turn the globe every which way and find the weather for any place on the planet, including the south pole....graphics are amazing and I find myself thinking "hmmm, it sure is hot in Khartoum today"....
