So I'm running along at the Terry Fox run........

Postby Run26.2 » Mon Sep 15, 2008 11:48 am

I had a 30km run scheduled Sunday in prep for the NY city marathon on November so I thought I'd do the Terry Fox 10km loop three times...support a good cause...yada yada.....

Anyways when I was heading towards the finish line for the first time a young woman with a camera runs along side me and says" excuse me, but I took some pictures of you running....I'm from the Citizen...do you mind talking to me for a bit"...... Completely random,.........I have no idea how she picked me......so I chatted with her for a bit, told her I was doing three loops, and headed back out on the course.....

When I came back around I could see her in the distance, in the middle of the road, taking pics of me as I ran towards her....I knew she was taking the pics of me 'cause there was nobody else around me.......still have no idea how she picked me.....

Anyways, a pic is on the Ottawa Citizen website.....here's the link

It is a great picture, nice colours.

PS I see that the leaves are turning there, it is kind of funny because we are still in full green and 1000 km north of you.
