Harvest Half Author: Dstew nice shirt and a great course, runs down and through Fish Creek Park - the only problem is the climb back out is near the end. Two young line backer types passed me giggling about the 17K mark. Passed one at the 18K mark as he was reliving his breakfast and the other guy at the 19K mark as he was struggling with it looked like 1/1s. My first half and there was a guy who was my height, age and my stride length. I was pacing off of him and he was pacing off of me - literally ran shoulder to shoulder from the 5 K mark to about a mile to go - I had a nice kick. I waited for him to finish to thank him, he came up to me and hugged me saying I helped him set a PB. |
