Tim Horton's Tri/Du

This event is superbly well organized. Plenty of Porta-potties, lots of water stations, an aspahlt and crushed stone, adequately shaded trail for the run portion(s). Many door prizes, including BBQ's, Bikes, Tim Horton's coffee makers,etc. The Post-Race food is generous and plentiful.

This year over 1,000 athletes participated over the weekend. Events included Kids of Steel, Tri-a-Tri, Relay Teams for both Tri and Du, and regular Tri and Du events, which include Elite athletes! There are nice cash awards for the Elite Atletes (5 deep) Age groups awards are 3 deep, with 5 year age group categories!

Distances are: Tri: 800 swim, 30 K bike, 6 K run
Du: 3K/30K/6K

If you are considering training for a well-organized event, put this one on your A list!
